YOUNG COUPLE FELLOWSHIP

According to the verse

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15)

the Young Couple Fellowship of Holy Trinity Church was initiated with the following objectives:

1. To indulge in prayer and Bible study
2. To strengthen fellowship through family enrichment
3. To participate in church activities and witness through outreach programmes.

In November 2014, a family retreat was organized in our Church, which paved the way to start the Young Couple Fellowship (YCF). Only two fellowships have the opportunity to gather as couples, one is the elder’s fellowship and the other is this newly born YCF.

Once in a month on Sunday, after the church service, young couples get together to have fellowship with God and one another and plan for future programmes. At present, more than 10 couples gather to sing praises to God, share our testimonies, meditate the Word of God and pray. We do encourage other young couples to participate in this fellowship, because this fellowship creates a refreshing bond with God and fellow couples.

By the grace of God on January 2016, God opened the doors to start a Sunday school in Rani Anna Nagar. Every Sunday from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm around 40 children gather in Rani Anna Nagar and we are ministering to them. Pray for this ministry, as we cater to the needs of these children and their families through YCF, because many parents are addicted to Alcohol and have a turbulent family life.

According to the verse “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty” (Zechariah 4:6), the One Flame programme was successfully organized on 5th March 2016. The program started with a photo session, song and worship, followed by ice breaker, skit, testimony, sermon, narration of marriage history, renewing wedding vows and finally ended with the wedding march. 32 couples from Holy Trinity Church and 13 couples from other churches participated in this programme. In toto, around 45 couples heard the word of God and were blessed. This programme strengthened our young couple fellowship and their commitment towards God.

We do request our church members to support us through fervent prayers so that we continue to grow in the Lord, fulfill his divine plan pertaining to the edification of the church and outreach ministries. We hope to do great things for the Glory of God and extension of His Kingdom through this fellowship. As Aquila and Priscilla, may the young couples in our church increase, shine and lead a Spirit-filled life resulting in a powerful ministry for the Lord.
