ZONAL FELLOWSHIP

‘But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen’ – 2 Peter 3:18

Our Holy Trinity Church is geographically divided into seven zones or areas for effective fellowship amongst all the families so that every individual member can grow and be rooted in God’s word and pray for one another. The Zonal Fellowship members can quickly reach out to fellow members during times of need. The name of the zones and the corresponding area-wise distribution of families are given below as follows:

The reason for christening the zones with names of Minor Prophets is that each prophet is mentioned as a separate book in the Bible. In order of their appearance in the Bible, seven zones of our church are named Amos, Micah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. They are described as minor not because they are less important than the books of the Major Prophets, but because they are shorter in length as most of them can easily be read in a single sitting. In addition, the study of the prophets is the need of the hour as they emphasize the following truths: (1) warning of impending judgment because of the nation’s sinfulness; (2) description of sin; (3) description of the coming judgment; (4) call for repentance; and (4) promise of future deliverance.
Each member of a zone identifies their neighbors through cottage prayer meetings held in each zone every week / periodically and can help them grow in the Lord through continuous learning and witnessing. Quality time is being spent in Bible study and Prayer through zonal fellowships so that each member/family has a personal experience with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

On 26th January 2016, singing competition was held amongst zonal fellowships where all zones participated with great enthusiasm. May all Glory belong to God alone!

Please pray for zonal fellowships fervently for God to bring about a great revival in the areas /zones where our church members are located, so that God’s purpose of planting our church members in different localities is fulfilled. May our Church be filled with new members as in the day of Apostles according to the Gospel of St. John chapter 10, verse 16: I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
